This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Coupe is a sensational recreation of the third of five Grand Sport racers designed to challenge Carroll Shelby’s Cobras. Built in secret by Corvette Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov, the Grand Sport was based on a dedicated tubular frame using the new Sting Ray’s suspension geometry and built to the lightest possible weight while maintaining the car’s mission of maximum reliability for long-distance races.
